Parramattaeels.com.au is the unonfficial website providing information on the Parramatta Eels NRL club. Although only recently created, we aim to bring more and more information to this site to bring you info on the club, it's history, the team and the sporting triumphs. The Parra Eels were founded in 1947 playing at Cumberland Oval in Parramatta which is now the site of the famous Parramatta Stadium. Success did not come quickly on the field for the club and it wasn't until 1981 when they won theit first, first-grade grand final. Since then the club has become a powerful force in Australian rugby league and have a strong and loyal supporter base.
